COVID-19 Outlet Q&A

What measures have the Outlets at Tejon taken to ensure a safe and clean environment?

We take pride in our facility at the Outlets at Tejon, evidenced by the constant maintenance of our restrooms and other common areas. We have installed hand-sanitizing stations in specific public areas within the center for guests who wish to utilize them. Additional signage has been added reminding everyone of suggested COVID-19 safety precautions such as social distancing and wearing masks. Lastly, all kiddie rides, Camp Tejon and the food court will be temporarily closed as a safety precaution.

Are masks required at the Outlets??

Upon the announcement of Governor Gavin Newsom on June 18, 2020 guests who visit the Outlets at Tejon and employees must wear a mask or face covering. Those who are exempt from wearing a face covering include the following:

-Hearing impaired
-People who communicate with those who are hearing impaired
-Children two years of age or younger
-People with medical, mental health or developmental disabilities that prevents them from wearing a mask

Have your hours remained the same?

We have temporarily adjusted our operating hours to be open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. until further notice.

Will fitting rooms and credit card machines be wiped down routinely?

While we can’t provide specifics for each individual store, we know they will follow their own sanitation protocol as directed by their corporate offices.

How many customers will be allowed in stores?

While we can’t provide specifics for each individual store, this decision will likely be based on the square footage of the store and the limits set by the respective retailer’s corporate office.

Will the food court be open?

For the time being, our food court and Camp Tejon will be temporarily closed as a safety precaution.

Will the restrooms be cleaned routinely?

Our restrooms are thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis, and some of urinals and sinks will be taped off to create distance between guests in order to continue social distancing practices.

A note to our valued guests...

In order to comply with state regulations for a safe reopening all stores at the Outlets at Tejon are required to meet or exceed state health and safety standards related to COVID-19. Although some practices will vary from store to store, all retailers are safe for our guests.
